Nature's Touch believes in supporting local farmers, organic farmers and the community. There are three different basket types available for a weekly pick-up. Each week these baskets will have a list of each of the farmers used, a different recipe and in-season produce. We believe in eating the freshest food possible and the best and easiest way to to that is by supporting local farmers.
Our first basket is called The Need for Greens. This is a smaller basket with quantities sufficient for one or two people for a week. The basket may include lettuce, juicing greens (kale, chard, etc.), cucumbers, carrots, beets, turnips, broccoli, cabbage, herb bunches and seasonal fruit.
Half the Harvest is our second basket and it can feed from one to three people each week. This basket includes the same as the Need for Greens basket, but with a little more produce. This basket will also include tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, shallots, garlic, cut and edible flowers, half dozen eggs, mushrooms, potatoes, sweet potatoes, yams, zucchini, summer squash and winter squash.
Our last basket is called the Full Harvest Basket. This basket will feed from four to six people each week. It will include the same produce as the Half the Harvest basket, but will include more of each item. In addition, there will be some grocery items such as granola, dried herbs or dried fruit.
With all of our baskets, you have the option of adding meat, cheese, or other dairy products for an additional cost.
